This shape holds alot of filling and is good for when you plan to serve the wonton in soup. It’s also one of the fastest ways to make wonton (especially when you’re in a hurry or making them alone). Just keep in mind that you need to bring all four corners of the square wrapper to meet at the top and make sure you pinch all the seams together so that they are completely sealed, that is, there are no ‘gaps’.
THE ‘ROUNDED’ WONTON
This shape is recommended for when you are serving the wonton on a plate (without soup) and drizzled with soy sauce/dipping sauce because your yummy sauce will collect inside the crevices of this shape. This shape does not hold as much filling as the Pyramid.
